Ruth Kight-Korngable
I only recently found out about Ken's death. I worked with Ken in the Fort Worth office of Amoco Pipeline starting in 1972 until he went to Houston I think several years later. I liked both Ken and Wanda and remember both of them so very well.
I lost touch with him when I moved from Fort Worth to Tulsa and then lots of other places before I finally was able to get an early retirement about 1995. We returned to Fort Worth to make it our home. My husband passed away in 2013; He was from
the twin cities in Minnesota. I was born and raised in Texas and joined the pipeline in a small Texas town (Stamford) and was later transferred to Lubbock before transferring to Fort Worth, etc. in 1972. That's when I met the Kings.
My sincere sympathy is extended to Ken's entire family. There was once a bunch of pipeliners in the Longview area, but I don't know if there are many others that remain.
May the Lord comfort you with peace and His blessings. My best blessings to the King family with the hope of seeing our friends and loved ones again in the Heavenly Home that the Lord has prepared for those who love and serve Him!
