Milt And Kay Rindahl
My husband Milt and I were stationed at Elmendorf AFB in 1968. Ken and his wife Gwen were our sponsors ! We became very good friends with them and our kids were friends with Beverly and Cynthia. Milt had never done much hunting or fishing and Ken took him under his wing and taught him so much! They went on a bear hunt where Milt got a beautiful spring bear and a sheep hunt where they didn't get a Dahl sheep but it was a great experience! There were many fishing trips where they caught silver salmon and other fish! Ken was very generous with his hunting and fishing skills and shared them with several of the young lieutenants and captains! We had lost track of Ken for many years but in my scrapbooking of our tears in Alaska decided to google Jen and found he had passed away! We wanted to share this memory for his family!!
