Kennedy Reigh June Sanders' Obituary
Kennedy Reigh June Sanders, age 1, passed away on May 23, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Kennedy was born on May 23, 2025, and though her time here was far too short, she filled every moment with laughter, light, and endless love.
Kennedy was a bright and beautiful little girl with a personality far bigger than her tiny size. She loved bright lights, snuggles, kisses, and listening to “Don’t Stop Praying” by Matthew West. Though she had only a few little words, Kennedy always made her feelings known. She was full of sass, joy, and a laugh that could light up any room.
One of her favorite things was aggravating her big sister, Arabell, just to laugh when she got in trouble. Her mother’s favorite memory is watching Kennedy stir up mischief with her sister and giggle proudly about it afterward. Her father’s favorite memory is sitting together playing patty cake and sharing endless belly laughs.
Kennedy leaves behind so many who loved her deeply: her father, David Sanders; her mother, Angel Sanders; and her sister, Arabell Sanders. She is also survived by her grandparents Allan and June Sanders and Bob Bartram; great-grandmother Lavada Sanders; Aunt Katie Whitaker, Sharron Pittman, Beth “Memaw” and Uncle Keith “Pepaw” Graves, Aunt Tracie and Uncle Joshua Dixon, Aunt Christie and Uncle Steve Gezella, Aunt Kayla and Uncle Aaron Adkins, Aunt Jennifer and Uncle Len Graves, Joshua Morey; cousins Pasche Everett, Adrian Sanders, Jazzmine Whitaker, Xander Morey, Katie, Kailey, and Steven Dixon, Kloe Newland, Waylon, Sawyer, and Kamryn Conway, Kylie Gezella, and Joshua and Kenzie Graves, and Maddie Parker; as well as her godparents Rebecca and Josh Lynn and Hannah and Blake Bradshaw.
She was welcomed into Heaven by her brother, Bentlee Sanders; Uncle James Featherston; grandparents Patricia Bartram, David Sanders, Shonda and Larry Featherston, April Luna, and Tamara Pittman; great-grandparents Billy and Francis Featherston; Aunt Sue and Uncle Jimmy; Uncle Danny Paul; and Uncle Robert.
Though Kennedy’s life was brief, the love she gave and the joy she brought will last forever. She will always be remembered for her sparkling spirit, her precious giggles, and the way she made everyone around her smile. Her family finds comfort knowing that her light will never fade and that her memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who loved her.
