Kelly Harrison's Obituary
Kelly Harrison, a beloved son of John and Jean Harrison was born in Longview, Texas on January 4, 1958 and passed away in Lufkin, Texas on March 1, 2025. Kelly attended Longview I.S.D schools and was a member of United Methodist Church of Longview. An avid Lobo fan, Kelly loved cheering for the green and white at football games. Kelly also loved playing basketball for hours at a time. Kelly was a sweet, loving brother with his sweet smile and out going personality. Kelly never met a stranger.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his great niece, Lila Kipp. Left to cherish his memory are his brother David Harrison (Elizabeth); sisters Carole Cahill (Mark) and Martha Collier (Kyle). In addition Kelly leaves behind his two nieces Rachel Graham (Conner) and Alyson Kipp (Chris);nephew Alexander Harrison (Yaicha); great nieces Merritt Kipp, Molly and Lilly Graham along with great nephew Townes Kipp.
Graveside services will be held at Memory Park on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 10 am. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Longview I.S.D. Foundation. P.O. Box 9461, Longview, Texas 75608. The family would also like to thank the employees at the Lufkin State Supported Center for the many years of Loving care they provided Kelly.
