Memorial services for Kay Cook will be held at First Christian Church of Longview on Saturday, August 3rd 2019 at 11AM. A time of visitation and fellowship will be held on Friday at the church from 5-7PM. Kay went to be with the L Read Obituary

Mark and I were saddened to hear about Kay. We immediately thought of her kind spirit, infectious laughter, admirable spunkiness, and enthusiastic participation in all of our activities. A warmer heart could not be found. We will always cherish our memories of time shared with her. We will be thinking of you and praying for you daily as you move forward.

To Zach and Randy - though I hadn't seen her in years, Miss Kay had a truly unique spirit: One of a relentless fighter and, equally, a deeply caring, selfless individual who seemed to put other's struggles or concerns in front of her own. Growing up with you Zach, I remember your mom's infectious laughter, her endless patience with us (ha!) and the perfect example of humility, grace, and kindness she set forth for everyone who knew her.
Our hearts go out to both of you during this difficult time.

Although we've never met, I feel like I somewhat know you. I'm the manager at CS Cutting and have known Kay for 7 years. She loved to tell me stories about you both as well as about the farm. She was one of my favorites that came in the salon. I am so very sorry for your loss. Kay was very special and will be missed dearly.
