KATIE ANN HARRISON TODD
Katie Ann Harrison Todd was born January 12, 1931 in Gregg Co, Texas to Floyd Herschel and Arabelle Elizabeth Fenton Harrison.
Mrs. Todd married James Warren Todd on April 6, 1952 and lived most of her life in Longview, Texas. They were blessed with one daughter, Cora Elizabeth Todd.
Through her love of children, Mrs. Todd enjoyed a career in education, having worked 44 years in Longview Montessori schools. She began her career at First Methodist's "School for Little Children" and went on to be a founder and owner of Honeysuckle Montessori School. Most recently, Mrs. Todd taught at Oak Forest Montessori School. Mrs. Todd had a great love and appreciation for the arts and enjoyed traveling with family and friends..
In addition to her only daughter, Mrs. Todd is survived by her brother Jack Harrison; her sister and brother-in-law, Beth and Perry Allgood of Lufkin; her uncle and aunt, Don and Patti Fenton of Tyler along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 32 years, her brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Pat Harrison and brother-in-law, Scott Evans.
Services will be 4:00 pm Friday, June 13th at Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Longview with Rev. David Lindwall officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Hank Evans, Patrick Harrison, Eric Rich, and Horst Seeger.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3613 S. Broadway, Tyler, TX 75701.
