Kathy Marie Coots' Obituary
Kathy Marie Coots died Easter Sunday, April 4th, 2010, after a long battle with Chrone's disease and cancer. Mrs. Coots passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, 2:00 P.M. at Rader Funeral Home chapel with Mrs. Margaret Carroll officiating.
Kathy was born August 9th, 1958, near Hammond, Indiana, to Dorothy and Raymond Hojnacki. Later she moved to Longview, Texas, where she spent the rest of her life. She is survived by two daughters, Lisa and Sara Coots, her parents, and sisters, Janet, Debbie, Ellen, and brothers, Michael , Mark, and Marty. She is also survived by very close and personal friends, Debbie Hoch, Trcia White, Wanda Thompson, and Jamie Nunn.
Mrs. Coots struggled with Chrone's disease since the age of 19 and withstood over 30 surgeries in her lifetime. Despite circumstances Mrs. Coots remained positive throughout her life and truly believed that everything happened for a reason. Her family knew her as the ultimate fighter and survivor. She left this world with a smile on her face free from pain.
She is in heaven with several family members including Jimmy Coots, Jr., Logan Benetich, and her great grandparents. She is in a much happier place now.
