Kathryne Davis Stark's Obituary
Services for Kathryne Ladene Davis Stark, 51, of Harleton, will be held
Wednesday 12:00 p.m. at Harleton Baptist Church with Brother Scott Rodgers
officiating; burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery officiated by Brother
Harry Lee Wilson. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at
Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Kathy went on to be with the Lord on
Saturday, October 9, 2010 at a Dallas hospital.
Kathy was born February 24, 1959 to H.G. "Whick" Davis and Marian Wynell
Davis in Jefferson, Texas. She attained an Associates Degree in both
Banking and General Business. On June 11, 1977, Kathy married the love of
her life, Terry Lyn Stark. She and Terry made Harleton their home for 33
blessed years where Kathy was the bank manager, member of Harleton Baptist
Church, and an active member of the community. She loved spending time with
her family and friends, swimming, and painting.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband, Terry; daughter and son-in-law, Dan
and Tiffany Bishop of Rockwall; new granddaughter, Caitlyn Grace Bishop of
Rockwall; brother Bennie Davis of Marshall; sister Jeannie Skains of
Wichita, Kansas; a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she adored.
She was preceded in death by her mother; father; and sister, Patsy Jennings.
