Anyone who knew Kathryn would agree that "feisty" would be an apt adjective to describe her. This quality served her well from the Great Depression through seevral major illnesses. She often found the humor in her plight. In her early years, she was an excellent mother, grandmother, baker, seamstress and homemaker.
Practical and down to earth, we will miss her sound advice and the twinkle in her eyes.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her husbands Tommy Grounds, J. W. Fisher and Coy Nichols; daughter Vicki Fisher Marks, as well as parents and siblings.
Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Darlynn Grounds Jones of Longview, and step-daughters and husbands, Mary Ann Fisher Stull of McCoy Colorado, Janiece Nichols Baldwin and Carolyn Nichols Gay both of Longview; 12 step-grandchildren and 9 step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rose Adams of Longview and Frankie Craig of Tom Ball, Texas and a number of nieces and nephews, as well as her canine pal Doxi.
