Greetings,
We,my wife Li Ling Fang and I were in China at Fang Fang's family's grave sites. They have one day a year dedicated to honor their ancestors / relatives that have passed away. This year the government made it an official holiday. We did not know about Kathy until afterwards. I do not remember much about Kathy as she was growing up, except that she was a strong positive individual that did not accept mediocrity and was successful at everything she wanted to do.The entire family respected Kathy very much, it was earned the hard way, by holding onto her morals and belief's and following her mother's teaching and belief's. Kathy left us earlier than the norm, or I would rather think she is still here in spirit, in so many different ways. At the same time, maybe there was another mission for her and she was needed, because of her specialness. There are no words to soothe or heal a parent that loses a child, a child that loses a parent,a husband or wife that loses their partner. Some will say time will heal.... Kathy raised the bar for us all and it is up to us to follow her lead.
