Katherine Jones Hightower's Obituary
Funeral services for Katherine Jones Hightower, 65, of Tatum, will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, October 13, 2008 at the Rader Funeral Chapel in Henderson with Revs. Trey Roberson and Mike Simpson officiating. Burial will be in Tatum Cemetery.
Mrs. Hightower died Friday, October 10, 2008, at her residence.
She was born September 16, 1943 in Wharton, Texas to Lew Don and Margaret Jones. She was a teacher's aide and a member of the First Baptist Church of Tatum.
Surviving is her husband of 38 years Max Hightower of Tatum; daughters, Brooke Hightower of Tatum, and Niki Garcia and husband David of Denton; sisters, Peggy Wesselski and husband Fred of Bay City, and Patsy Jones of Wharton; grandchildren, Ryan Mitchell of San Marcos , Jennifer Garcia and Jessica Garcia, both of Denton.
Pallbearers will be Andy Ross, Reagan Hightower, Jim Teal, James Baker, Wyatt Shanks, and Marjay Grisham. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Sinclair, Gene Burns, James Freeman.
Visitation will be Sunday at the funeral home from 3 to 5 PM.
