Katherine Anne Ronzello's Obituary
Mass of Christian Burial for Katherine Anne Ronzello, 67, of Longview will be 10 AM Wednesday, May 7, 2003 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church with Reverend Gavin Vaverek officiating with burial following at Rosewood Park. Rosary will be recited Tuesday, May 6th, at 7 PM in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel followed by family visitation.
Mrs. Ronzello died Sunday afternoon, May 4th, at her home. Born June 13, 1935 in New Orleans, LA she had lived in Longview since 1954. She and her late husband, Anthony John ?Red? Ronzello were in the restaurant business for many years. She was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church where she was a member of the Our Lady?s Guild, the Catholic Daughters, and was active on the Bereavement Committee. Mrs. Ronzello was a Sustainer in the Junior League, a member of the Magnolia Garden Club and a charter member of the ?Back of the Box? group.
She was a wonderful mother and friend and will be missed by all those who knew her.
Mrs. Ronzello is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Katherine Denise Ronzello, Diane Lynn and Hal Newsom, and Sharon Anne and Kelly McAfee all of Longview; sons and daughters-in-law: Frank Anthony and Mary Ronzello of Nacogdoches and David John Ronzello of Longview. Grandchildren, Jennifer Ronzello, Tony Ronzello, Rachel Newsom and Alexa Newsom; and a sister and brother-in-law: Lynn and Freddie Angelo of Canton, Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony John ?Red? Ronzello, her son, Dennis James Ronzello and her parents, James and Rachel Davis.
Pallbearers will be Paul Folzenlogen, Robert Folzenlogen, Jack Kuhlman, Les Mendicello, Jules Morris and Gene Dworsky.
The family requests that those who desire may make memorial contributions to St. Mary?s Catholic Church, St. Mary?s School or to Hospice Longview.
