KATHALEEN WILLIAMS HENSLEY Funeral Services for Kathaleen Williams Hensley, 91, of the Spring Hill community, Longview, will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 5, 2007, at Elmira Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the R Read Obituary
I just wanted to let Kathaleen's family know what a special person she was to me. I lived on Edward for quite a few years and she used to let my sons pick blackberries from her patch. I also was in Country Patches Quilt Guild with her and we enjoyed the art of quilting together. She was a dignified and wonderful lady and I am blessed to have been her neighbor and friend. I can hear her laugh, I can see her eyes sparkle and I will always remember how much she loved to garden and her quilting hobby. She inspired many of us quilters to try to make things as wonderful as she could, and she made us always want to keep quilting into the golden years. What a delightful person Kathaleen was, it was a joy to live near her and be able to see what she had up her sleeve. I appreciated her fun sense of humor, she loved education and instilled the desire to encourage everyone to learn everyday.
