Karen was a wonderful sister in law. She was very caring and was a rock for my brother. She always saw the best in everyone and never met a stranger. She loved my two daughters with all her heart. Karen will truly be missed but we can celebrate that she is with the Lord in heaven!
There is so much to say for Karen.That laugh to never forget,and she never looked down on our actions . The perfect wife she was and Derek was blessed to have her and we talked about it all the time. I was one of the first to meet here from the east Texas area and I knew when I first meet her she was a one of a kind. I will always remember you Karen Marie Smith and will keep you in my heart forever.

I will remember your smile and laugh the most, you had the cutest little laugh. I always enjoyed talking with you and you were always friendly towards me and very welcoming to me. I am truly sad that I will not be able to see you again here on earth but will look for your special star in the night sky. My deepest sympathy to Derek, he loved you so much.
