Karen was my best friend all through school. We shared lots of good times, laughs and sometimes tears. We spent HOURS gossiping on the phone— much to the dismay of the seven other families (including a church!) with whom my family shared a party line! As we graduated high school and went separate ways we weren’t able to see each as often but kept in touch. In the past few years we had re-connected as I had an aunt in Longview. It’s difficult to believe she has left this world. She is missed terribly- but I know we will once again re-connect in Heaven. Prayers to her family.
Robert- You and your family are in my prayers. I have fond memories of the little chocolate mice Karen made for the Christmas party at your house and also of the smiley face food game you two so lovingly played when we went out for hamburgers. Every time you two got into the car, you opened the door for her. Such a testament to your love and respect for her. May God bless you through this painful time and grant you peace and comfort in the days ahead. Valorie King
