June Winnifred Rogers' Obituary
Graveside services for June Winnifred Rogers, 92, of Longview, will be 10 AM Thursday at Memory Park Cemetery, Longview, with Reverend Jonathan Jehorek officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Park Cemetery.
A native of Minneapolis, Minnesota, she was born June 9, 1916 to Roy and Lydia Sundby. She had worked for Southwestern Gas and Electric for 18 years and had retired from the Texas Employment Commission. She was a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church, Longview. Mrs. Rogers was a member of several Bridge Clubs, The Longview Garden Club, Church Women United and the Birthday Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harry, a brother, John Sundby, Sr and his wife Jonnie and a nephew, John Sundby, Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory are her nephews, Dr. Stephen Sundby and wife Karen of Wasilla, Alaska and Brian Sundby of Longview.
Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Longview or favorite charity.
