After Earl retired as Military Liaison Officer for Litton Industries in Washington, DC, he and June moved to Longview where they became active in the symphony, civic, and church activities. She was a long time member of the Newnham Sunday School Class at First Methodist. June's quiet, loyal, lovely demeanor endeared her to a host of friends.
