Julia Ann Kennimer Boyd's Obituary
Julia Ann Kennimer born to Arlie Lonzo and Irma Jo Carter Kennimer in Gilmer on January 23, 1957. She went to be with her Lord on June 9, 2019. Family and friends described her as a sweet soul. She never met a stranger and she especially loved children.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, David Boyd; survivors also include her three daughters Goldie Boyd and her husband Mike of Talco, TX, Rebecca Morton and her husband Roy of Ore City, TX, and Angela Davis of Angleton TX. She is also survived by her brothers, David Kennimer and wife Terri of Haganta, Guam, Gary Kennimer of wife Kathy Sue of Porter, TX; sister Kathy Kennimer Lemley of McDade TX, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and friends. Julia is preceded in death by her parents.
She was a mother and grandma to many, and a best friend to all. Julia never met a stranger. She filled this world with love, friendship to all she met. As a former foster parent, she love, saved and advised many with her beloved husband. A precious rose in the garden of life.
Funeral services for Julia will be held at First Baptist Church of Judson on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 10 am with Jeremy and Jason Smith, Justin Garnett, Roy Morton, Mike Cox, John Smelly, Anthony Arthofer and Blake Mayo serving as pallbearers with pastor Tim Smith. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6-8pm at Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
