Julia Florine Snowden's Obituary
Graveside services for Julia Florine Snowden, 91, of Longview will be 11 AM Tuesday, May 15, at Memory Park Mausoleum on East Marshall Avenue, Longview. Interment will be under the direction of Rader Funeral Home. She passed away Thursday, May 10, at Havencare Nursing Home in Longview. Visitation will be Monday, 6-8 PM at Rader Funeral Home, Longview.
Florine was born on January 12, 1921 to Elton and Vada McMullen in Huntington, Texas, where she graduated from high school. She had been a resident of Longview for sixty years, and was a member of Oakland Heights Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Earl Snowden, a younger sister, an older brother and a great-grandson Caden Snowden.
Florine is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Dorothy McMullen of Hallsville, three sons and daughters-in-law: James and Shirley Snowden of Longview, Steve and Wilda Snowden of Alba, Texas, and Tim and Sandra Snowden of Buda, Texas, six grandchildren and spouses, Stephanie Snowden and Ken Collinsworth of Fort Worth, Jenny and Phil Kanagy of Clayton, North Carolina, Wendy and Chad Ward of McKinney, Colin and Giselle Snowden of Royse City, Micah Snowden of Big Sky, Montana, and Courtney Snowden of Buda, Texas, as well as seven great-grandchildren, Ethan, Joel and Rachel Kanagy, Nolan and Avery Ward and Molly and Sam Snowden.
