Juana Margarita Womack's Obituary
Juana Margarita Womack passed away peacefully on the 14th of November 2012.
Margarita was born on August 29, 1961 in Barranquilla, Colombia to Luis Carlos Navarro and Leonor Isabel Navarro. She was a young, outgoing spirit even through the last days. In time she brought Luis Israel and Juan Carlos Encalada into this world with Dr. Hector Ubaldo Encalada. In 1998 she moved to the United States where she found the love of her life, Dr. Stephen Lee Womack. Margarita was a teacher at LISD for nearly 10 years, where she received a Teacher of the Year award. She taught all of us about life and to cherish it every day. Margarita was a loving and compassionate mother, daughter, sister, and spouse, but more than anything she was an exemplary disciple of The Lord. She passed away from cancer, and taught us what it means to be brave and to endure. She kept a strong faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who welcomes her with open arms at His golden gates.
Margarita is survived by her two sons Luis and Juan, her siblings Dr. Jorge Luis, Milena, and Yaneth. She is also survived by both parents, Luis Carlos and Leonor Isabel, as well as her husband Dr. Stephen Lee Womack. She lives on in all her family, friends, and anyone who had the grace to be touched by her. She will always be remembered as a powerful, loving, and lively woman. Her namesake truly fit her well as she was as beautiful as a Margarita flower.
The visitation will be held at Rader Funeral Home from 6-8 PM this Friday. There will be a rosary at 9:30 AM followed by the mass at 10 AM at St. Matthew's Catholic Church this Saturday. Everyone is welcome.
