Juan Cerda Contreras, 66
Juan Cerda Contreras, age 66, of Longview, TX died Tuesday, November 7, 2017. He was born August 15, 1951 in Ahualulco, San Luis Potosi, Mexico. He was the son of Cirio Cerda and Torivia Contreras.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Guevara, and his 10 ten children. Mario (Maria) Cerda, Jubencio (Crystal) Cerda, Margarito (Maria) Cerda, Alicia Cerda, Paula Cerda, Ana Cerda, Juan Cerda Jr. (Maria), Jose Arturo Cerda, Roberto Cerda, and Ana Reyes. Also, His brothers and sisters, Priciliano Cerda, Pedro Cerda, Adolfo Cerda, Emeterio Cerda, Anastacia Cerda, Nieves Cerda, Ofemia Cerda, and Simona Cerda. He also leaves many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Juan has gone to Heaven to reunite with his father and siblings, Marino Cerda, Sebastian Cerda, Pablo Cerda, and Paz Cerda.
Memorial Services and Mass for Juan Cerda Contreras will be held at 2:00pm Friday, November 10, 2017 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 508 N Sixth St Longview, TX. We will then proceed to lay him to rest at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, 5000 W Harrison Rd, Longview, TX 75604.
Juan was a man who loved being surrounded by family and friends. He will be truly missed. May he rest in peace and in the Glory of the Lord.
