JT Burgett's Obituary
A Celebration of Life Service for JT Burgett of Lake Cherokee will be held at 10 am Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at the Centre Presbyterian Church in Elderville.
JT was born January 10, 1927 in Seminole, OK. He had resided at Lake Cherokee for 56 years.
He was an avid fisherman and adored his family and friends and his precious dog Josie.
JT’s wife of 50 years, his parents and two sisters all precede him in passing. He is survived by his daughter Connie Youngblood of Dallas; sons, Don and Mike Burgett both of Longview; and five grandchildren, Ty, Magan, Alli, Ryan and Amber; four great grandchildren, Rylan, Jake, Emma and Lucas. Survivors also include brothers-in-law William Earl, Jimmy and Gary Duncan, sisters-in-law Bettie Jo, Pattie and Tamara Duncan.
The family wishes to express great appreciation to the staff at Buckner Westminster Place
and Longview Regional Hospital for their compassionate care. Donations may be made to House of Disciples in Longview or flowers are welcome.
Arrangements are under the care of Rader Funeral Home, Longview.
