Funeral services for Joyce Wilson, 76, of Longview, will be Noon Wednesday at Winterfield United Methodist Church with Reverend Mike Lindstrom officiating. Interment will follow in Winterfield Cemetery. Rader Funeral Home, Longview, in charge of arrangements
The family will greet friends at Rader Funeral Home from 5 to 7 PM Tuesday.
A native of Longview, Mrs. Wilson was born July 29, 1929 and had lived here most of her life. She was a homemaker, a loving mother and grandmother and was devoted to Winterfield United Methodist Church where she was a life member. Her greatest joy was the special bond she had with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Douglas Wilson, parents: J. W. and Gladys Bardwell and her twin sister: Royce Bardwell.
She is survived by her sons: Dennis Craig Wilson and wife Connie of Longview and Mark Douglas Wilson and wife Arlene of Hallsville, Brother: Wallace Bardwell, Jr and wife Ellie of Hallsville; Grandchildren: Elizabeth Anne Wilson, Stephen Craig Wilson, Megan Elise Wilson, Douglas James Wilson and Monica Brooke Wilson; great granddaughter: Riley Elizabeth Wilson; cousin and best friend: Mamie Ruth Woodall of Longview and a sister-in-law: Patsy Boyd and husband Tom of Mineola, TX.
