Joyce Jacqueline "Jackie" Lee's Obituary
Funeral services for Joyce Jacqueline "Jackie" Lee, 82, of Longview will be held at 2 PM Monday, February 18, 2013 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Robert Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park in Longview. Mrs. Lee passed away Thursday evening February 14th. The family will receive friends Monday from 1-2 PM prior to the service.
Joyce was born on May 25, 1930 in Conroe, Texas to Willie and Callie Webb. She was a devoted homemaker and loved her family and loved taking care of them. She loved to cook for and entertain people and enjoyed being hospitable. She took special delight in her grandchildren and loved them dearly. She was also a devoted Christian and member of Longview Church of Christ. She loved her church family and enjoyed fellowship with them whenever she could.
She was preceded in death by her husband William T. "Bill" Lee who passed away in 2002; and by her brother, Bill Webb.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters and sons-in-law, Dixie and Wayne Moseley of Longview, and Peggy and Randy Toye of Searcy, Arkansas; her grandchildren and their spouses Eric and Stefanie Moseley of St. Charles, MO, Erin Moseley of Longview, Kristin and Austin Christian of Searcy, AR, Joe and Kelly Toye of Bangor, Maine, and Lisa Kelly of Lakeland, FL; and 5 great grandchildren.
The family request that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Truth for Today program, one of Mrs. Lee's favorite mission efforts.
