Joyce Joy Francis Stockwell Gay
Joyce was born to Ruth Irene Younce and Daniel Allen Stockwell on February 3, 1931 in McKinney, TX. She went to her heavenly home on March 25, 2007. Visitation is Wednesday, March 28, 6-8 pm at Rader Funeral Home, Longview. A Memorial service for Joyce will be held in the First Presbyterian Church, Gladewater, TX at 2pm on March 31, 2007 with the Dr. W. D. O?Neal officiating. Joyce is survived by her husband of 57 years, Page Gay, and her three children one son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Dot Gay of Winona, two daughters and sons-in-law, Christie and DeWayne Farrar, Debra and Jerrel McBride of Kilgore, one sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Clyde Floyd of Wylie and one brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bill and May Gay of Euless and 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Joyce filled her life with her love for the Lord and her family. Joyce gave her heart for 37 years by using her talent as a floral designer working in several Flower Shops in Longview. Her personal love was expressed as a church librarian, as a Sunday school teacher, and being a good friend to many. Joyce has requested instead of flowers that donations be made in her memory to the First Presbyterian Church, Gladewater, First Cumberland Presbyterian Church Library, Longview or to Grace Baptist Church Senior Saints, Kilgore. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home, Longview.
