Joyce Hagler Fomby's Obituary
Joyce Hagler Fomby, 89, passed away on November 17, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. She resided in Longview for 63 years. Visitation will be 6pm-8pm on Thursday11/19 /15 at Rader Funeral Home in Longview. Graveside services will be held at the Sand Hill Cemetery on Farm Road 555 in Sand Hill, Tx on Friday, 11/20/15 at 11am.
Joyce was born on September 19, 1926 in Sand Hill Community. Proceeded in death by her husband of 64 years, Neal Fomby and sons Joe Neal and Steven Foster ; brothers, Dean and Norman Hagler.
She is survived by her daughter, Gloria Whitehead and husband Richard of Dallas; son, Carroll Fomby; Granddaughters , Alison Burnett of Hurst, Texas, Cara Freeman and husband Ryan , and Caitlin Fomby. Great grandchildren: Shelby and Cody Burnett of Hurst, Texas; Caiden Beal of White Oak, Texas and Archer Freeman of Longview.
In addition she is survived by siblings: Cosette Stewart and husband Kenneth of Gilmer, Texas; Elton Hagler and wife Mary of Longview; Dock Hagler and wife Sue of Akron, Ohio and Clinton Hagler and wife Carol Jean of Breckenridge, Texas. Numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
Family requests that in lieu of flowers that memorial donations be made to the Sand Hill Cemetery Assoc. c/o Jerry Putman, 1279 Gardenia Rd, Gilmer, TX 75645.
