Joyce Marie Acree, 81, of Pioneer, LA passed away on May 9, 2019 in Longview, TX.
Memorial services for Joyce will be held at 10am, Monday, May 13th, 2019 at Radar Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Howard officiating.
Joyce was born in Pioneer, LA to the late Duard and Edna Davis on October 13, 1937. In August of 1956, she was married to Fred Acree and moved to Longview where they made their home. Joyce worked for 25 years at Longview Manufacturing, and she enjoyed sewing, gardening, camping, volunteering, and spending time with friends and family.
Joyce is preceded in death by her husband Fred Acree, parents Duard and Edna Davis, her brothers Jimmy, Tommy, DW, and her sister Janice.
Survivors include her children, Pam Blalack, Ronnie Acree wife Karen, and Sandy Thomas husband Benjie. Grandchildren Crystal Thornton, Kim Fourman, Jenna Collins, Brandon Gilbert, Lauren and Jessica Acree, Andrew, Aaron, and Alex Thomas, nine great grandchildren, five sisters, and one brother.
Friends and family are welcome to gather at Joyce’s home following the memorial service.
