Joseph James Uhlir's Obituary
Funeral services for Joseph James Uhlir, 83, of Longview will be held at 10 AM Friday, December 6, 2024, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with Rev. Gary Oehlerts officiating. Entombment will follow in the Rosewood Park Mausoleum. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Uhlir was born on April 30, 1941, in Chicago, Ill. To Joseph Frank and Freida Uhlir. He passed away on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024, at his home in Longview. He was a proud veteran who loved his family and his church. His hobbies included fishing, coin collecting, and classic cars.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54yrs Frances.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children Michael and his daughter Michelle (Walter). His grandchildren Lily (Ronnie) Tesla. His great-grandson Neiko. As well as 2 sisters and many nieces and nephews.
