Joseph W. "Buck" Crawford's Obituary
Joseph W. "Buck" Crawford was born on November 10, 1931 in Joinerville TX. He attended Gaston School and was a member of the Odd Fellows and Rebecca Lodge. He worked for Strouds in Joinerville and then for George P. Bane of Tyler for the following 34 years until his retirement. He then drove cars for local dealerships in Longview and was a member of LDS, Longview Branch. Buck is survived by his daughter, Sonia Duke and husband Dannie, Shiela Booker, 2 brothers Edward and Larry Crawford, 2 sisters Margarett Durnal and Sue Mericle; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lonnie Crawford; parents Narvel and Odessa Crawford; brothers Charles Felder and David Crawford; sisters Janice Martin and Oralee Jones; granddaughter Joni Diane Duke; grandson Baby Duke; daughter Judy Mabus; Son Danny Gentry and son-in-law Richard Booker.
The family would like to express their thanks for the support of LDS, special thanks to Tina and Ray Huggins; Amy and Jeff Keller for always being there for Buck; and his sister Margarett who stayed and took care of him to the end.
