Jose Muniz's Obituary
A Mass of Christian Burial for Jose Muniz (83), of Longview will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 1pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church. A rosary will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 5:00 with a visitation to follow from 6pm until 8pm. Jose passed into the arms of God in the early morning of March 24, 2021 at his home.
Jose was born on October 29, 1937 in Mexico to parents Julio and Francisca Muniz. while living in Mexico he had found a passion for God through the Catholic Church, helping to build a church in his hometown. He eventually made it to America and worked for many years in construction. Jose attended St. Anthony's Catholic Church for many years.
Those left to cherish their memories of Jose include his wife Estanislada Muniz as well as his numerous children, grandchildren, extended family and friends.
