Jose Ignacio Sanchez Sr.
Mass of Christian burial for Jose Ignacio Sanchez Sr. will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012, at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Longview. Interment will follow in Rosewood Park. Arrangements are by Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Sanchez died May 28, 2012, in Longview. Visitation will be Friday, June 1, 2012 noon-7 p.m., with Recitation of the Rosary starting at 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
Mr. Sanchez was born on April 17, 1956, in Apaseo El Alto, Mexico, and moved to Longview, Texas in 1981. He worked in the lumberyard for Cassity Jones for over twenty years and then McCoy's for two. All the customers who he had the privilege to assist loved him. Jose never met a stranger as he enjoyed meeting and talking to all who encountered him and considered them a friend.
Preceding Jose in death was; mother, Carmen Sanchez; son, Octavio Sanchez; brother, Juan Carlos Sanchez; brother, Ismael Sanchez.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Maria; son, Jose Sanchez Jr.; daughter, Ana Manery and husband David; daughter, Elizabeth Rodriguez and husband Carlos; daughter, Michelle Hardy and husband Sunny; son, Michael Sanchez; father, Tomas Sanchez; sister, Zeniada Garcia; sister, Elvia Reyes; sister, Maria Luz Duran; sister Guadalupe Palacios; sister, Veronica Hernandez; brother, Javier Sanchez. Grandchildren: Julio Banuelos, Jose Ivan Sanchez, Carlos Rodriguez Jr., Yazmin Rodriguez, Sophia Rodriguez, Alisha Manery, and Kytana Manery. Numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Jose enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving husband and father and a friend to all. He was always smiling and laughing as he enjoyed life and his family. He will be missed by all.
