Jose ?Angel? Abrams
Mass of Christian burial for Jose ?Angel? Abrams, 21, of Tatum will be held at 9:15 AM Saturday, July 16, 2005 at St. Matthews Catholic Church with Father Cortez officiating. A rosary will be recited at the church, at 9:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow in Tatum Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, 1617 Judson. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM Friday evening in the funeral home chapel.
Angel was born on September 30, 1983in Kokomo, IN to Elias Gurrola and Elaine Abrams. He passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2005 in a Longview hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He had recently started working at LeTourneau Inc. in the welding department and was a member of St. Matthew?s Catholic Church. Angel was loved by everyone who knew him. He was a special person and will truly be missed.
A devoted son, husband, father, grandson, and brother, Angel is survived by his dear wife, Tori Abrams of Tatum; 15 month old daughter, Madison; parents, Elias and Elaine Abrams; grandmother, Rejina Gurrola; sisters, Maria, Laura, Lucy, Elizabeth, Isabel, Raquel, Belen; brothers, Alex, Marcos, Elias, Jr., Miguel, Daniel, Joshua, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
