JoNell Wright's Obituary
Graveside services for JoNell Wright, 65, of Longview will be held at 2 PM Friday, December 10, 2010 at Piney Cemetery in Harleton, Texas with Brother Roy Culley officiating. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Wright passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday evening surrounded by her family and loved ones.
JoNell was born on March 29, 1945 in Marshall, Texas to Reese and Vertis Harber. She has lived in East Texas all of her life and was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. JoNell worked for many years as a news carrier and loved her job delivering the Longview News Journal. Mrs. Wright was very spiritual, caring, never met a stranger, and showed her love by cooking for and trying to feed everyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and 3 brothers, Willard G. Harber, Gaylen W. Harber, and Richard L Harber.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 22 years, Jimmy T. Wright of Longview; her daughters, Renee Wright of Artesia, NM, Carolyn Hammond of Big Sandy, TX, and Jackie Ruminer of Hallsville, TX; her brother, Leo Harber of Gladewater, TX; and 2 sisters, Alice Sparks of Hallsville, TX, and Mary Ann Smith of Tatum, TX. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Justin Wright of Buford, GA, Jenna Wright of Atlanta, GA, Brandon Hill of Denton, TX, Brooke Hill of Tyler, TX, Bailey Hammond of Big Sandy, TX, and Jakeb Wallace of Hallsville, TX.
Along with floral donations, the family request that memorial donations be made to Beacon Hospice, 5016 Gilmer Rd. Longview, Texas 75604.
