My deepest sympathy for your loss. I know you will miss her, but I also know you have wonderful memories of her and Phil. They were workers and could be counted on for whatever project we had going during the years they lived at the lake. Johnye and Phil served with the Beautification Group, the Knife, Fork and Trowel Club, First Friends, helped with the entry Improvement for the South Side, walked the roads and picked up trash -- you name it they participated. She was also very active in the Bridge Club, and often offered her home for gatherings. May you find comfort knowing how much she loved all of you, and that she was one of God's children.

Mrs. Johnye was a blessing to me the entire time she lived at Buckner Westminster Place. Not a day passed that she did not come to my desk and ask about me and my daughter. Her smile & laugh truly brightened my days. Peyton & I prayed for her every night since she moved. It was obvious in talking to her on the phone, how happy she was surrounded by her family. It has been an honor to know her and her family. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
Mema was so very special to us. Wyatt and Calista adored her! She was a special lady and will be greatly missed.
