Johnnye Ann Lowe's Obituary
Services for Johnnye Ann Lowe , 77, of Longview will be 4 PM Friday, October 4, 2002 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Emmitt Barrow officiating. Burial will be at Rosewood Park. Mrs. Lowe died Tuesday evening in Longview. She was born November 16, 1924 in Keltys, Texas and had resided in Longview since 1991.
Mrs. Lowe graduated from high school in Haynesville, Louisiana in 1941. She then attended Tyler Commercial College and later she attended nursing school in El Dorado, Arkansas where she became a licensed vocational nurse. Her nursing career included tenures at the Willis-Knighton and the Veterans Administration Hospitals in Shreveport, the Midland, Texas Memorial Hospital, and the Henderson, Texas Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Lowe was a loving mother and grandmother who loved her grandchildren and loved watching them play sports. She will be missed dearly by family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Janis Sue Lowe of Baton Rouge; her son and daughter-in-law, Ralph Alger Lowe, Jr. and Cindy of
sugar Land, Texas; her daughter and son-in-law, Anna and Neil Joseph of Longview; grandchildren: Trey, Jonathan, Alison, Amber, Hunter, and Hayden; a brother, Wallace Monroe Lowery, Jr. of Arkansas City, Kansas; a half-brother, Thurmoln Lowery of Spring, Texas, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening 5 to 7 PM.
