Memorial services for Johnny W. Brooks , 58, of Tatum will be 10:30 AM Monday, September 23rd at the New Beginnings Baptist Church with Rev. Dick Stagner officiating. Mr. Brooks passed away on September 19th, 2002 at 12:45 AM in his home surrounded by his wife and children. He is now with his Lord and savior.
Mr. Brooks was the owner of P.J.?s Qwik stop and operations manager for the former Ranger Well Service. For the past seven years, he was employed by Therral Story Well Service as operations manager.
He was born April 26, 1944 at Opelika, Alabama to L.J. and Louise Hobby Brooks. Mr. Brooks had resided in East Texas for 33 years. He attended the New Beginnings Baptist Church.
He is survived by: His wife Patricia of Tatum
Children: Chris Brooks of Lafayette, LA, Gary Brooks of Kilgore, Patience Reeves of Gladewater, Stefanie Cox of Longview, Jerry Lambert of Colleyville, and Shelia Mobley of Farmington, NM; 12 grandchildren; mother, Louise Brooks of Overton; brother, Earl Brooks of Kilgore; Sister Shirley Robinson of Overton.
