Johnny McCracken's Obituary
Graveside services for Johnny McCracken, 83, of Hallsville, will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, October 13, 2020, with Bro. Mark Moore officiating. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. McCracken was born on July 8, 1937 and passed away after a lengthy illness on October 10, 2020. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Rader Funeral Home.
After high school, Mr. McCracken proudly served his country in the United States Army. Johnny was a very involved member of Hallsville First Baptist Church where, over the years he was a deacon, taught RA’s, and served in numerous rolls in the church. He worked for 42 years in the parts department at Pegues Hurst Ford.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 62 years, Betty McCracken; his son and daughter-in-law Ronnie and Donna McCracken; daughter and son-in-law Lynette and Larry Duval; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
