Johnny C. "Bill" Allen
Graveside services for Johnny C. "Bill" Allen, 62, of Hallsville will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Forest Hill Cemetery near Harleton with Brother Ron Hardman officiating under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. He passed away Wednesday morning, February 15, in Longview.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Allen was born November 12, 1949 in Longview and was a lifetime resident of the area. He was employed with East Texas Mack Truck as a salesman. He was formerly employed with the Longview Police Department, the Harrison County Sheriffs Department and the Kilgore Police Department. Mr. Allen was an avid fisherman and a member of the Bass Fishing at It's Best Club.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Robbin Allen of Hallsville; children, Billy Allen of Plano, TX, John Allen and fiancée Hollie Carter and Lisa Audas and fiancée Roy Sagebiel; grandchildren, Briah Allen, Dominic Allen, Shailea Audas, Hannah Mattox, Hailey Mattox and Kaydon Dunn; parents, Clyde and Grace Allen of Longview; brothers, Bobby Allen and wife Terri and Richard Allen and wife Sarah; sisters, Linda Sumrow and Mary Widemon and husband Roy; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and longtime special friends, Rita Cox and Jimmy Lockhart both of Longview.
Memorial contributions may be made to Beacon Hospice at Margaret's House, 5016 Gilmer Rd., Longview, TX 75604.
