Anita Smith John Mac Smith was the finest attorney I ever knew. He used to come sit on my desk and chew on his cigar and we would talk about the old days when he worked with my father-in-law on a case. He was a genuine gentleman! Working in his law firm -we worked hard and laughed a lot. I pray God's comforting arms will enfold you in your time of grief.

I worked with Mr. Smith for about 12 years. He was the best attorney and friend I knew at that office. He always had a joke or story to tell. He will be missed. Prayers to the family. He will be missed by a lot of people. He loved life and those around him.

I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Smith for 4 years, and my days were always made with laughter from a JMS story. My favorite memory is how he would stand at my desk with his cigar chewed on both ends, spitting out pieces while telling a story, and soggy tobacco falling on my desk. I always admired Mr. Smith for the quality of respect and courtesy he extended to everyone he encountered. My sincere symphathies to Mrs. Mary Lou, Bruce, and to all of the Smith Family.
