I'm in shock as I write this. I was planning on checking on John this week. We were members of the Friday Morning Men's Industrial bowling league for many years. My condolences to the family. First Linda and now John! Praying for your family! Ricky Todd
John’s been a part of our regular Men’s Prayer Breakfast group for a very long time. It was always touching to watch him try to connect with the small children and their parents as they came inside the Whataburger where we met each week. He’d always do his darndest to try and get a smile out of the parent and their little ones and make them feel noticed and special. He leaves a great absence in his passing!

Leslie, Darren, Vickie, Johnny and family. I'm so very sorry about your dad and grandfather. John was one of a kind, a great husband, father, grandpa and friend to all. He, your mom, Darren and Leslie were the first to meet my family when we moved to Texas. We all became long fast friends for life. John taught me how to drive he would pick me up from school and he even let me drive one year when we drove to pick up Johnny and Vickie one summer. John will be missed but he will always be in our hearts and memories. I can just see your parents and my parents playing cards smiling, laughing and having a great time. My deepest sympathies to each of yall and God bless.
