Funeral Services for Mr. John W. Gilmore, age 81, of Laneville will be held Friday July 6, 2007 at 10: 00AM in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson with Rev. Joe Regel and Rev. Troy Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Basin Wyoming.
Mr Gilmore passed away Tuesday July 3, at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler.
Mr. Gilmore was born July 31, 1925 in Basin, Wyoming, and had been a resident of Lanville for 1 year. He was a retired master electrician for Dresser Minerals, and was a Baptist. Mr. Gilmore was veteran of WWII where he served in the U.S. Navy
He was preceded in death by wife Mildred, son, Walter Gilmore, and second wife Frieda, and his parents Robert J. and Anna Gilmore.
Survivors include daughter & son in law Tamara Jackson and husband Gary of Laneville, daughter Edith Jensen of Riverton Wy. Son, John Gilmore Jr. of Riverton Wy. , sister Betty Morris of Basin Wy. , brother Daniel Gilmore of Livermore Calf. 5 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
The family will meet friends from 9am ? 10am Friday at the funeral home.
