John Jack Trepanier's Obituary
John “Jack” Alan Trepanier, age 60, passed away January 5, 2017. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on June 15, 1956.
Jacks achievements in youth included working on paper routes and placing 8th in the national soap box derby races in Akron, Ohio.
Jack had worked at various jobs including a fabricating plant for Armco Steel, driving commercial semi trucks and scrap yard work.
Jack was very active in several churches and donated his time and provided goods and services to charitable organizations including the House of Hope women’s center in Longview. Jack loved to bring them milk on a regular basis.
Jack loved to repurpose all sorts of things. He loved to treasure hunt at the Canton flea market and other trading sales.
Jack was very giving and loving to many people and was loved in return by many. We are heartbroken and will miss him greatly.
Jack is survived by his parents Elvera J. Trepanier and Peter J. Trepanier of Meza, AZ, his brothers Dale P. Trepanier of Big Sandy, TX and James E. Trepanier of Winnsboro, TX, and a sister, Catherine A. Trepanier of Pleasant Hill, CA. His brother, Bruce C. Trepanier precedes him in passing.
A Memorial service will be at Old Paths Tabernacle in Kilgore, TX Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 1 pm with graveside services at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Longview on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 2pm.
In late November Jack was in a collision with a car while riding his bicycle and suffered head and brain trauma, and a month later passed away peacefully among family and friends. Thank you to all who visited and spent time with him at his bed side, so many very good friends.
