John Taylor's Obituary
Services for John Bob Taylor, 89, of Longview will be 10am, Tuesday April 5th, 2011 at Church of Christ on Judson Road in Longview. Mr. Taylor died April 2nd, 2011 in Longview.
Born June 18th 1921 in Lone Oak, he was a dedicated employee working for Mobil Oil Company for over 40 years. He cherished the times he spent on his farm and moreover the times he had with his many close friends and family. Most who met John will remember him for his signature wink and a smile that was truly larger than life. Survivors include his wife, Jessie Taylor, his sister Jim Ann Taylor, his daughters Reta Lee Taylor, Evelyn Haney and Stephanie Gense, and son, John B. Taylor Jr. He was preceded by Brenda Bell Hudson.
Visitation will be 6-8pm Monday, April 4th, 2011 at Rader Funeral Home in Longview. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Beacon Hospice Margaret's House, 5016 Gilmer Rd. Longview, TX 75604.
