John Lyle's Obituary
John grew up in Longview Texas. After graduating from Pine Tree High School in 1981, John moved to Dallas, Texas, where he was self-employed. He later moved to Atlanta, Ga., and Houston, Texas, and resided in Katy, Texas.
He is survived by his daughter, McKenzie Johnston of Katy, Texas; his father, John H. Lyle of San Marcos; his mother, Catherine Lyle of Mesquite, Texas; two sisters, Cynthia Lyle-Temple of New Braunfels, Texas, and Linda Lyle Bass and her husband, Gary Bass of Longview, Texas; and brother, Larry Lyle of Longview, Texas. John was also blessed with five nieces and nephews, Alan Bass, Austin Bass, Lexi Bass, Whitney and her husband, Greggory Chovanec, and Jordan Temple.
John was saved by the Lord's grace and is resting in better place. He was kind, thoughtful and loved life. He always tried to help others and to be supportive to his friends, showing through perseverance and life's burdens that God has a plan and will allow you to be blessed in grace by helping others. His sense of humor, laughter and smile will be missed.
