John Henry Lake's Obituary
John Henry Lake was born September 29, 1964 in New Orleans, LA to Ike and June Lake. He passed away April 22, 2017 in Longview.
John Henry loved life and lived it to the fullest. Funny pranks and jokes were an everyday occurrence. He worked for Pegues Hurst Ford for many years as Parts Warehouse Manager. Friends, which were many, were close and dear to him. They helped him in so many ways and in turn he had an affect on them. A special thank you to all of you for your love and support. His wit and humor will be remembered forever. And please, when you say New Orleans, pronounce it correctly, as he would say.
John Henry was preceded in death by parents Ike and June Lake.
Those left to cherish his memory are his companion and spouse Greg Gaddy of 25 years; sister, Joyce Raines and husband David; brothers, Sam Lake and Dan Lake and his wife Nancy; nieces, Laura Rutherford and husband John, Jennifer Newman and husband Wesley, nephew Joey Hooker and wife Abbigail, great nephews and nieces Blake Rutherford, Emma Rutherford, Raegan Newman, Jackson Hooker, Benjamin Hooker and Cora Hooker. JoeAnn Thompson, aunt, Bob Lock, uncle and many cousins.
A visitation celebrating his life will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at Rader Funeral Home, Longview.
