John J. Shute
Funeral services for John J. Shute, 76, of Longview, will be held at 11a.m. Monday, March 27, 2004 at the Rosewood Park Mausoleum Chapel with Chaplain Paul Streed officiating. Entombment will be under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. He passed away Saturday morning, March 27, 2004 in a Longview hospital.
Mr. Shute was born August 19, 1927 in Summerville, Massachusetts, and had been a resident of Longview for more than 50 years. He was the owner/operator of J. J. Shute Machine Shop.
He served his country in the U. S. Air Force during WWII. Mr. Shute was a member of the Elks Lodge #1128, and the Eagles Lodge of Longview.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Helen Hotaling.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 46 years, Mozelle Shute of Longview; daughter Cathy Richardson and grandson John Cody Bohler both of Longview; step-daughter, Billie Ann Miller and husband John of Missouri City; and numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
