Memorial services for John J. Smith, Jr., 73, of Longview will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2013 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the funeral home. He passed away March 3, 2013 at his residence in Longview. Burial will follow at a later date.
John was preceded in death by his father, John J. Smith, Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Rina of Longview, TX; his mother, N. Pauline Flynn of Sedalia, MO.; his daughter, Michele Smith Hockett of Clay Center, KS.; his son, Jack Smith and his wife Karen of Double Oak, TX; grandson, Nathan Peterson of Clay Center, KS; grandson Jacob Smith and granddaughter, Krystal Smith of Double Oak, TX; and his brother, Gary Smith of Sedalia, MO.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Jack Smith, 6101 Long Prairie Rd., Suite 744-115, Flower Mound, TX 75028, to be designated at a later date.
