My condolences to the Daugherty family. Back in the day, I always thought the world of Johnny and was extremely proud when I heard that he had enlisted in the Corps. RIP brother. SEMPER FI

My memories of Johnny is that he was larger than life and had a personality to match. I thought of him as a brother as I always thought of the Daugherty’s as my family. I know he is in a better place with no more pain and I am sure he is with his mom, dad, sister and wife. He will always have a place in my heart. Love to all the family. Barbara
Gunny, you will be missed. You have cut my hair for many years. Mrs Judy cut it many years before you. I'm going to miss coming on leave from the various bases I was at and talking to you and asking for advice. Semper Fi Brother.
Your memory will live forever In my heart. I was one proud cousin telling everyone about you being a Marine - enjoy your rest with your wife and the family. We will be there soon
I know there is a beautiful reunion in heaven right now. Give everyone my love💕. I am praying for the ones you left behind, that God will bring them comfort and peace in knowing that you are safe in his arms.
My dear little brother, God only knows how much you meant to us and how much you will be missed. I pray you are safe and sound in heaven with mom and daddy. We love you so very much and will miss you until we are all together again.
