I had the privilege of being friends with Mark for 6 years of school at Foster and LHS. I think that we shared a lot of common interest due to being from from South Longview. He was always such a genuinely nice person, very laid back and soft spoken. We recently had reconnected on FB and shared a few updates and I am glad that we did. It is always great to know that, even if a lot of years roll by, there are certain people that you pick up where you left off with, and this was Mark's nature. He has a beautiful family that my prayers are with for God's peace at a very difficult time. He will remain in my memory as a friend who was well liked by so many.

Mark will be missed by many. He had a personality that drew people to him. I had the pleasure of getting to chat with him for awhile a few years back when I ran into him one afternoon when out shopping. My heart is with his family. He was taken way too soon. Belinda Blalock Brunson
