Military funeral honors for Major John (Jack) Sam Carlton, Jr. are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, May 23 at The Veterans Memorial Plaza at Teague Park. A private family entombment will take place later in the day. Major Carlton d Read Obituary

I am so sorry to see Jack has left his earthly dwelling, but am so happy he is out of pain and his fight with the big "C" is finished.
Jack was one of the men who helped us organize and get the Lake Cherokee/Lakeport Kiwanis Club going. No matter what we needed help with, he was there for us!!
Sadness is an emotion that can drain your soul to its core. May your memories bring you Joy and God bring you peace as you travel this new road without your beloved Jack.

Brenda I wanted to do flowers to show how much I care but I think my words and thoughts are better. I pray that you find peace and remember all the good times and laughs you and Jack had. He was a wonderful person and friend to so many people. You were such a wonderful wife and friend to him and he loved you very much.
I am there for you and always will be, please remember that and call on me whenever, even just to talk.
